Copyright and Rights Holder Notices
Last updated: May 2026
1. Overview
YTVD.app respects the rights of creators, publishers, content owners, and rights holders.
YTVD.app is intended only for lawful personal backup, permitted offline access, and processing of content that the user is legally allowed to download, convert, extract, process, or save.
YTVD.app does not operate a public library of third-party videos, audio files, or media files. YTVD.app does not make processed files publicly searchable or publicly available.
Users are responsible for the URLs they submit, the content they process, the output format they choose, and their use of any resulting file.
2. Reporting alleged infringement
If you believe that YTVD.app is being used to infringe your rights, you may send a copyright or rights holder notice to:
Please include enough information for YTVD.app to understand and review your report.
A useful notice should include:
- your full name or organization name;
- your contact email address;
- identification of the copyrighted work or protected material;
- the specific URL, media identifier, request, output, or activity you believe is infringing;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the reported use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate;
- a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may take longer to review. If a notice does not contain enough information to identify the reported content, URL, media identifier, or activity, YTVD.app may request additional information.
3. URL and media identifier restrictions
When YTVD.app receives a sufficiently detailed rights-holder notice, YTVD.app may restrict or disable processing of the reported URL, media identifier, or related request pattern.
This may include blocking:
- a specific submitted URL;
- a media or video identifier;
- a related request pattern;
- a source or format;
- an IP address, user agent, or request pattern associated with abuse;
- a feature or output option where restriction is appropriate.
YTVD.app may maintain an internal blocklist of reported URLs, media identifiers, sources, or request patterns to help prevent repeated processing after a rights-holder notice or abuse report.
Public-facing messages for blocked or restricted content may be neutral and may not identify the complainant, rights holder, internal reason, or legal basis for the restriction.
4. What happens after a notice is received
After receiving a sufficiently detailed notice, YTVD.app may take one or more of the following actions:
- review the information provided;
- request additional information if the notice is incomplete;
- restrict or disable processing of the reported URL or media identifier;
- block a related request pattern;
- limit or remove a feature where appropriate;
- preserve limited internal records of the report and action taken;
- respond to the reporting party when appropriate.
YTVD.app aims to cooperate with rights holders and respond to sufficiently detailed notices in a reasonable time. Response time may depend on the clarity of the notice, the information provided, technical limitations, and operational availability.
5. No monitoring of every user request
YTVD.app does not monitor, review, or verify every user-submitted URL and does not determine the ownership, licensing, permission, or legal status of every item of third-party content.
The availability of a technical output option does not mean that a user has the legal right to use that output.
Users remain solely responsible for making sure they have the legal right to download, convert, extract, process, save, or use any content submitted to the Service.
6. Counter-notices
If you believe that access to a URL, media identifier, request, output, or feature was restricted by mistake, you may contact:
Your counter-notice should include:
- your name and contact information;
- identification of the URL, media identifier, request, output, or feature that was restricted;
- a statement explaining why you believe the restriction was a mistake;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the content or activity was restricted as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- any information showing that you own the content or have permission to process it;
- your physical or electronic signature.
YTVD.app may review counter-notices where applicable, but does not guarantee that any restriction will be removed.
7. Abuse reports
For non-copyright abuse reports, security issues, unlawful use, automated abuse, excessive requests, or misuse of the Service, contact:
Please include:
- the relevant URL or media identifier if available;
- the type of abuse or issue;
- a short explanation;
- your contact information;
- any supporting details that may help review the report.
8. Repeat misuse
YTVD.app may restrict, block, or terminate access for users, IP addresses, identifiers, or request patterns that appear to repeatedly infringe rights, repeatedly violate the Terms of Use, repeatedly submit abusive requests, or repeatedly create legal, operational, security, or platform risk.
Because YTVD.app does not operate user accounts by default, repeat misuse may be identified through reasonable technical signals such as limited operational data, hashed identifiers, request patterns, abuse reports, or other abuse-prevention signals.
9. Limited technical records
YTVD.app may keep limited internal records related to copyright notices, rights-holder reports, abuse reports, restrictions, and actions taken.
These records may include:
- date received;
- reporting email or organization name;
- reported URL;
- media identifier;
- type of complaint;
- action taken;
- date of action;
- internal notes related to the report.
YTVD.app does not publish these internal records and does not make them publicly searchable.
